(Fewer than 12 semester hours of college course work completed and have no need for remedial course work in English or Math)

Alternate Criteria for International First-time Freshmen Who Do
Not Meet the Above Criteria
(Fewer than 12 semester hours of college course work completed; minimum TOEFL score of 540
paper or 207 computer based test or equivalent if from non-English speaking country; completion
of a recognized secondary program comparable to U.S. high school graduation)

Students who meet the above criteria will automatically be considered for
a scholarship if an
application for admission, test scores and transcripts are
on file by the March 1 priority
date. There is no special scholarship application to be filed and
letters of recommendation and essays are not required.
Undergraduate students who obtain scholarships under these criteria must maintain full time status
each academic year with a minimum UNO cumulative GPA of 2.75 to retain the scholarship.
