Admissions Process

    What to Do:

  1. Make sure your student takes the ACT or SAT early in their junior year or early in the senior year of high school. It’s ok to take it more than once
  2. Review UNO’s Admissions Requirements before applying
  3. Fill out the online application
  4. Pay the one time $40.00 Application Fee
  5. Submit Official Transcripts from all previous high schools, colleges, and universities
  6. Submit ACT or SAT scores
  7. After 24 - 48 hours, logon to www.uno.edu to review the status of the application.

    Once Accepted:

  1. Sign up for a New Student Orientation session
  2. Apply for Student Financial Aid
  3. Attend Orientation and meet with an academic advisor
  4. Register for classes using Webstar at www.uno.edu
  5. Pay all fees at either the Bursars Office or online
  6. Get a Student I.D. Card at the Liberal Arts Building
  7. Get a Parking Decal from the Campus Police
